Berlin goes Brooklyn
A place to always Stay Hungry!
New York City: one of our favourite cities. Maybe it is the loving network of friends and family we have here…maybe the city is simply amazing. Still. It is moving at an enourmous pace an there is always so much to discover!
Berlin is the new Brooklyn we hear a lot…they said so over 10 years back already when D.U.M.B.O. had not yed been re-zoned. And yes, we do have to say, today it seems like the L train would go from Bedford Avenue straight to Neukölln. That is such a fun thought like a hub from Mario Bros. where a hipster – we guess that includes us too – goes into a tube and gets popped out in a different land.
In any case this fall we had a great time in the City. We got lucky and were spoiled with warm whether for the first week of our stay and could prolong the yearly intake of sun…as in Berlin the cooler season had begun already. We even took a plunge at Coney Island!
We just love to endlessly walk the streets of NYC, meet friends and take a pit stop here and there. It is the perfect place for urban outdoor inspiration.
